Good Day Local 5820
I am looking for volunteers to help put together an Education & Training Committee.
Our vision is to provide opportunities for Union Members to educate and train in a variety of options, which will further enhance their lives and careers.
The goal is to circulate ongoing information on courses, conferences and certifications in a way that entices and encourages participation. This information will be shared quarterly, ensuring that sufficient timing is provided in case union approval is required for conferences and paid training.
We are looking for a variety of skills and talents. Anyone willing to search for ongoing and relevant information to share with our members is welcome. Those with graphic design abilities would be helpful in putting together flyers or pamphlets to share information with members.
A broad representation of both units (5820.00 & 5820.01) are encouraged to volunteer ensuring that all training needs are brought forward.
